Best Western Hotel Kampa

Location
The hotel is located in the very historical part of Prague called Kampa. The first written mention of Kampa dates back to the year 1169.
In close proximity to the hotel, there is a spacious park Kampa situated on the island by the Lesser Town embankment. The park is suitable for walks, rest, relaxation and holding various events such as meetings, exhibitions and social events. On the bank of Vltava River, flowing along the park, we can find significant cultural monuments such as Lichtenstein palace and Sovovy mlýny Exhibition Hall. The park offers beautiful views of Prague's bridges and historical buildings (National Theatre, Dancing House etc.) situated on the other bank of Vltava.
You can walk through the park and reach the famous Čertovka mill wheel - used many times as a background for shooting films such as Amadeus and Mission Impossible. On the way you can also stop by Lennon Wall (filled with John Lennon-inspired graffiti and pieces of lyrics from Beatles songs) and then continue through the Na Kampě street all the way to Charles Bridge and the Lesser Town.
From the other side of the park you can enter Petřín park with the Petřín Look-Out Tower and continue walking all the way to Prague Castle and Strahov Monastery.
